Nancy started her career in accounting at PepsiCo before discovering her deep love of Entertainment/Commercial Film Production. She founded NEED in 2003 out of a desire to ensure that every company, no matter how large or small, has access to the financial knowledge and services that will help take their business to the next level. Nancy is an innovator, fueled by her clients’ performance and success and deeply rooted in integrity. She may have traded in her dream of being an aerobics instructor for a calculator but you will always find her being incredibly active in her faith, exercise, philanthropy, and anything USC related- Fight On! Nancy sits on several boards, resides in the South Bay with her husband, and is a proud boy mom to two human and two “furry” sons.

Margaret spent most of her early career crunching numbers for the commercial production industry as CFO for Epoch Media Group. Previously assisting various high profile commercial production companies, she worked alongside artistic pioneers of the industry gaining great insight into how accounting departments in production companies operate internally. From former client to Managing Partner in 2012, Margaret joined Nancy as the head of NEED’s New York office to help expand their services nationally. She currently serves on the AICP National Board as an Associate Member and has previously served several terms on the AICP East Board. She is an active member of CHIEF and the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF). In her spare time, she loves hacking up the golf course, following the stock market and listening to classical music.

Jen has been with NEED since its inception and is a 25-year veteran of commercial production accounting. She is fiercely dedicated to NEED’s white glove service and has been a strategic contributor to the growth of the organization. Jen is a SoCal native who loves spending time with her family, is a true-crime podcast junkie and enjoys walking her Bloodhound, Chief.

An active member of the AICP East Board and She Runs It Organization, De Wet grew an everlasting passion for the entertainment industry working for numerous media platforms throughout her early career including film development, commercial production, reality TV and live shows. In 2014, she found a permanent home within the people and atmosphere NEED provided and continues to flourish in helping the company reach new heights. Outside of brand strategy and business development, De Wet is currently in the process of perfecting her own blended whiskey.

For over 20 years, Karen has been a noteworthy leader in the retail technology space, specializing in transforming client needs into specific business and technical requirements. A longtime friend and collaborator of NEED, she started her career in Business Consulting, developing financial product strategies, then later supporting those in the media and entertainment industry in Los Angeles. Most recently, she has been running the Retail Technology Innovation team for Pilot Company’s 700+ travel center locations. Karen is excited and honored to join NEED, returning to her roots in SoCal and the Entertainment industry. Outside of work, she dedicates her time to her two sons, actively practicing her golf swing and exploring new restaurants as an avid foodie!
